April is a retired Army veteran. She is a licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director. She graduated from Cypress College Mortuary Science. She has been in the Death Care Industry since 1996.

Vanessa has served families in the funeral industry for over 5 years, with a strong background in customer service. She remains family focused and is honored to educate patrons on their future needs and options regarding advanced planning.

Luis has been with Calvary for 6 years. He attended Garfield High School and East Los Angeles Community College. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, restoring cars, being with his family and The Los Angeles Dodgers.

Lashannah is a California licensed embalmer. She graduated from Cypress College of Mortuary Science. She joined Calvary Care Center in 2006.

Susan has been in the funeral Industry for over 20 years, the last 8 years with Calvary Mortuary.

Bret has been in the Funeral Service Profession since 1994 and joined Calvary in 2002. He likes what he does.

Ney has been in the Pre-need Funeral Industry of 4 ½ years and in sales for 37 years. He is a graduate of Cal State University of Los Angeles. His hobbies are listening to music, reading, and watching soccer games.

Jerry has been in the Death Care Industry for 21 years. He has been with Calvary for 11 years having served as supervisor for Death Certification, Funeral Arranger and currently as the Administrative Assistant for Calvary Mortuary.

Willie has been in the Funeral Industry for 30 years. He joined Catholic Mortuaries 10 years ago. He received his B.A. from Saint John Seminary and Masters of Divinity from Pontifical University of St. Bede in Rome Italy. He enjoys traveling.

Abel began his career in the Funeral Professional in 2011. He was formerly an Executive Chef in the Los Angeles area; having worked at some of Los Angeles most prestigious restaurants. His transition into this industry was very smooth as there are many similarities in Customer Service. Abel enjoys music, weight lifting, cycling and family cooking.

Walter has been in the Death Care Industry for 25 years, he joined Calvary in 2007. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California. During his spare time Walter enjoys spending time with his daughter and doing sports activities.

Gabriel joined our staff and has been serving our families since 2007. He is currently an Apprentice Embalmer and furthering his education in Mortuary Science at Cypress College Mortuary Science. On his down time Gabriel enjoys playing pool, camping and recreational shooting.

Krystal is a receptionist. She is currently enrolled at Rio Hondo College studying to become a Registered Nurse. She is new to the industry and Stewart Enterprises, She is very glad and thankful to be a part of such a hard working team. Krystal is always anxious to learn something new.

Rose is currently an embalmer and was formerly a funeral arranger, service director and certified crematory operator.

Pilar joined the preneed team at Cavalry Cemetery and Mortuary in 2009. As a preneed counselor she helps families to plan in advance for the future. She also serves at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Montebello. She holds a B.A in Social Science from the University of California Irvine. She enjoys reading and music.

Mayra joined Calvary Mortuary in 2000 after graduating from Cypress Mortuary Science College.

Lorena has been in the Funeral Industry for 13 years. She joined Calvary Care Center in 2004 as a Death Certification Specialist. She is a graduate of Marinello Beauty College and attended Cypress College Mortuary Science. Lorena enjoys spending time with her family doing all kinds of sports.

Sam has been in the Funeral Service Profession for 25 years. Sam has tremendous knowledge in all aspects of the industry and has worked exclusively in the Southern California area. Sam joined Calvary in 2011. Sam attended East Los Angeles Community College and is an avid Dodger Fan.

Rene has worked for Catholic Mortuaries/ Calvary Mortuary for 12 years. He enjoys working with families and explaining the importance of planning for the future. On my days off I enjoy reading a good book.

Eva has been in the cemetery, funeral industry for 17 years. She is a graduate of Watterson College. She enjoys walking, bike riding and shopping.

Juan has been in the cemetery and funeral preneed for 14 years. He enjoys walking and traveling.

She has been working for 16 years for the Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries. She is a graduate of La Verne College. She enjoys reading, listening to music, walking and water skiing.

Guadalupe is an Apprentice Embalmer and Licensed Funeral Director. She graduated from Cypress College with a degree in Mortuary Science. Guadalupe enjoys traveling, crocheting and is a connoisseur of vegetarian cuisine.

Alfonso has 44 years of experience in the funeral Industry, having worked in the Los Angeles exclusively. Due to his vast knowledge in all denominations and aspects of the industry Al is responsible for having trained and continues to train incoming directors. He is an avid Los Angeles Dodger fan.

Ezequiel has been in the Funeral and Cemetery Industry for over 10 years. He started his career at Holy Cross Cemetery in 1999. Ezequiel now serves families assisting them with Pre-Need for Catholic Mortuaries and Cemeteries.

Tom joined Calvary in 2005. He has been in the funeral industry for 14 years. He is Licensed as the following: Embalmer, Crematory Manager, Cemetery Manager, Funeral Director and Notary Public.

Jessie has been with Calvary Mortuary for 5 years. Her background is having worked for Pacific Bell for 29 years. Jessie loves her job.

Silvia joined Calvary in 2007, when her career in Death Care began. She attended East Los Angeles Community College to study Child Development. Silvia loves helping families and making them feel comfortable during their time of loss. She enjoys being at home with her lovely daughters; cooking, sewing and crocheting.
